BODY GROWTH: Prestige car retailer Sytner of Leicester has had its sub-contract bodyshop awarded BMW Approved Bodyshop status.

 

Situated six miles from the dealership and three miles from Leicester city centre, Gore Motors started business in 1981 and has worked closely with Sytner of Leicester since it was awarded the BMW franchise six years ago. Sytner dealer principal Colin Woods forecasts the BMW bodyshop accreditation will help increase turnover by 25 per cent during the year. "The forthcoming introduction of the BMW Accident Management Programme, which will arrange for the recovery of vehicles to the nearest BMW approved bodyshop, is also expected to contribute to this growth," he said.

 After 25 years in refinishing, Paintshop  manager Satpal Gore,didn`t think there was much more that he could learn about his business

 

As paintshop manager for family run  Business , Gore Motors in Leicester,he knew he ran an efficient,streamlined operation. So when his 3M representative, Jamie Bixley,told him of the savingshe could make by using 3M`s Paint Preparation System, he didn`t really believe it.

" but i thought  PPS was a bit of gimmmick. It was more out of courtesy  really, that i told Jamie he could set the system up and show me what he meant. And when he proved to me the SAVINGS i could be making in both time and materials, frankly i felt stumped ".
